Starting November 21 Air China will be returning to Washington Dulles with service to and from Beijing Capital. When the coronavirus hit the world back in 2019 they pulled out of Washington Dulles and all the other U.S. airports they serviced to. Covid, of course, was a terrible few years for the aviation industry. After pulling out, Air China wanted to return to Washington because there was a high demand of people wanting to go to China. They were planning to return back in March of 2023 but they delayed it till November, which is when they will actually be returning.
The flight from Beijing to Dulles as well as Dulles to Beijing will be operated on a 777-300 twice every week. The flight out of Dulles goes to Los Angeles then Beijing. The 777 offers first, business, and economy class seating.
