Yesterday was an absolute beautiful day of plane spotting. I was able to get the Emirates A380, Korean 777, and ANA 787 landing on 1C.

Dulles Plane Spotting Highlights 3/30/2024
Yesterday was the last day the Lufthansa 747 will fly into Dulles till October 27th. I got some very good shots of it. The departure was amazing! Other than that the day was a normal day of spotting.

Yesterday was the windiest day I have ever spotted. With that in mind I saw some really rough landings like the Air France 777. Also I saw a rare Turkish Airlines 1R departure.

Yesterday was a good day of plane spotting, as a few heavies departed off of 19C before they did 19L, which was unfortunate.

Yesterday was an average day plane spotting in the evening at Washington Dulles. The highlight was the Lufthansa 747 as it will leave Dulles for a while towards the end of the month. There will be nothing like the 747.

DC’s Giant Pandas Leave November from Washington Dulles!
On Wednesday November 8th the last three giant pandas will leave the Smithsonian facility. The three pandas are Mei Xiang, Tian Tian, and Xiao Qi Ji. The pandas are owned by the Chinese government, and the lease for the pandas ends December 7. Flying these animals is not an easy task. Before putting them on
