Today was a cold sunny day at Dulles. The good news is that the lighting was perfect and I got some good shots. The highlight of the day was the Lufthansa 747-400.

Today was an amazing day of spotting as lots of the planes that came today don’t usually come to Dulles. The highlight of today was the Lufthansa 747-400. It is such an amazing airliner and never gets old watching her mains hit the runway creating an immense amount of smoke.

Today at Washington Dulles Ethiopian Airlines made a rare appearance departing on runway 1C. There were a few heavies that departed off runway 30. The rain today made the shots look very cool!

Dulles Plane Spotting Highlights December 20, 2023
Today was a great day of plane spotting. Even though it was freezing cold outside, I managed to get some cool shots. The highlight of the day was the Russian Ilyushin ll-96-300. Also another highlight was spotting the ANA 787-9 from the historic Dulles tower.
