Yesterday was a great day of plane spotting as the weather was perfect. The highlight was the Norse 787 as it was its last flight ever to Dulles as far as we know. I also got some other great shots.
Yesterday was Swiss Airlines first flight into Dulles. And fortunately I got ramp access and got both Swiss and Lufthansa. They were the highlights of the day.
Yesterday was the windiest day I have ever spotted. With that in mind I saw some really rough landings like the Air France 777. Also I saw a rare Turkish Airlines 1R departure.
Yesterday was a good day of plane spotting, as a few heavies departed off of 19C before they did 19L, which was unfortunate.
Yesterday was an average day plane spotting in the evening at Washington Dulles. The highlight was the Lufthansa 747 as it will leave Dulles for a while towards the end of the month. There will be nothing like the 747.
Today was one of the best days of plane spotting! The highlight of the day and of the year was the Lufthansa 747 go around! It was phenomenal!
Monday was an amazing day of plane spotting. The highlight by far was the Lufthansa retro 747. It took me forever to get a good shot of it. I also saw some other cool aircraft like the Qatar 350-1000.
Today was a very cold day! It was below freezing with a very cold wind. The highlight today was seeing Air France in golden hour. It was just stunning!
