British Airways has removed the A380 flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and Washington Dulles (IAD) in April of 2024 when the International Air Transport Association (IATA) summer season 2024 starts. According to sources, in the whole month of April British Airways will not be flying in their A380 into Washington. By May of 2024 the airline is scheduled to operate the 380 to Washington daily. Right now British Airways operates two flight out of London Heathrow to Dulles. BA217 and BA293, both operated by the 777-200/300.

When it comes to the A380, Dulles only has two gates that can hold it. British Airways will be one airline that takes a 380 gate, and the other gate starting June 1st Lufthansa should be parking there. It’s still unclear where the Lufthansa A380 will be parking.
