DMV Flights

This week’s jet photo of the week is the Lufthansa 747-8i right next to the full moon. This photo was taken on November 25th, 2023. This Lufthansa 747 is in the old Lufthansa livery and is registered D-ABYD. Only two out of the nineteen 747-8i’s of Lufthansa are in the new livery. This photo is very cool as it is a full moon and it’s the ‘Queen of the Skies’. Also this photo is now going to be very rare as Dulles won’t be getting the Lufthansa 747 for a while starting in the first half of 2024.
